Sudden flurry of thefts and violence in the urban areas of Norwalk CT

I signed up not too long ago for neighborhood alerts within my immediate area and I am blown away by how many burglaries, thefts and acts of vandalism and violence happen around me almost every day! I could post image after image, but one picture should suffice enough. The picture above is a snap shot of a typical email from neighborhood alerts. Keep your fire alarm system code compliant!

Welte Electronic Systems LLC is committed to delivering excellent service and peace of mind to our clients while providing safe and secure building technology solutions. Our trained technicians use our technology to perform NFPA 72 compliant Test & Inspections. We offer regularly scheduled inspections as part of NFPA 72 required service agreements. By the way, we actually do them.

We recently were asked to take over the fire alarm monitoring and service for a client who’s previous fire alarm company was billing regularly for this service, but had not done them at any of the client’s five buildings under contract.

When we contacted the previous company to inquire of any known issues the owner soon mentioned that he never heard of us, and warned the client ” Who is this company? I’ve never heard of them. How do you know they’re going to do inspections per the code?” Can you imagine what went through my head as I listened to this? I reminded him that the reason we have been hired to replace him is because he was not doing them even though he was being paid regardless as part of a contract. I believe most business owners are not this narcissistic, but this conversation was a reminder to me that getting clients is one thing, but keeping them requires the discipline to always be a servant first.
